Manufactured 1951 with original magazine and box with brush. Standard combat sights. Commercial slide markings. Barrel with "COLT .45 AUTO" on top of breech. Colt commercial magazine. Frame with "E", VP, and "95" proofs. "R" stamp at top of frame near disconnector hole. Serrated short curved trigger, slide release, left side safety, and arched mainspring housing. Checkered hammer with polished sides. Polymer grips with Colt medallion integral to mold and scoop lightening. Comes with a Colt box maroon box with gold and green label on left side, pony in top lid, bore brush, and Colt information on bottom. Top lid with serial number and "Sgt / Gallagher". Gun has preservative grease throughout, especially internally. CONDITION: Very fine, showing some very light markings from handling and operation, retains the vast majority of its blue finish with a few minor scattered rubs, mostly on chin and top of slide. Action works appropriately. Bore is very good, preservative in barrel has attracted some dirt over time; rifling is quite crisp. Box is poor, with top lid detached and two aprons missing.
