Manufactured 1945. Square notch rear sight, serrated slope front. High Standard barrel. "G" inspection mark on top of frame. Keyes grips with reinforcing rings from two different batches. Checkered magazine release, left side only safety, spurless checkered hammer, and short checkered trigger. Serrated slide release and arched mainspring housing with lanyard loop. "H", "C" and "7" inspector marks on trigger guard. "FJA", "P", and Ordnance Department markings. Polished feed ramp. Accompanied by a shipping box identifying gun with serial number and indicating it shipped with two magazines, only one is present. Box appears to list a shipping address that has heavily faded with time; appears to be "St. Luke's". Shaver magazine. CONDITION: Fine as refinished. Some silvering at the high points and reciprocating areas, most noticeably on trigger and towards rear of pistol. Box is fine, complete, with some stains from age but sound. Action operates correctly with a fine bore. EW CORRECTION: Upon further review, this Remington Rand retains its original finish and is not refinished as previously indicated.
