Features 1873 rear sight stamped "R" with headless screws. Lock is not dated but has eagle. Block is stamped "US MODEL 1873". Stock has "ESA" in oval and dated 1877. Also features twin bands, swivels, and standard finish. CONDITION: Very fine overall. 95% barrel blue with some freckling. Traces of color on block but mostly just pattern. 95% oil quenched finish on lock and hammer. 95% bright blue on screws. Dull patina on bands. 90% blue on trigger guard. 80% blue on buttplate. The stocks are near mint with original raised grain and sharp stamps. Strong near new bore. Comes with original leather sling with single brass hook and two keepers. This fine rifle has seen little use.
