Shipped to Abercrombie and Fitch in 1954, this scarce gun with 26-1/2" barrel with Imp. Cyl & Mod chokes and has low profile ventilated and matted rib. The round nose forend is checkered in point pattern and has coin finished engraved release. Coin finished action is signed by "Funken" on both sides with famous "fighting cocks" scene on left, pheasants on right surrounded by well executed scroll. RKLT configured stock is checkered in three point pattern through the wrist and terminates with a Browning composition buttplate. Housed in a fine Hartmann case. CONDITION: Excellent as partially restored. Barrels retain nearly all of a factory quality restored blue. Stocks have been expertly restored and retain nearly all of that finish. Buttplate shows some bumps. Coin finish has been restored on the action, engraving ever so slightly thinned. Bores are bright and shiny with just a beginning hint of frost. Mechanics are crisp. Case is excellent with only minor rubs. JSL
