Sundog Firearms built rifle on a Cooper Model 57M action with Cooper .17 HMR lightweight tapered barrel mounted in an exhibition grade stock made of Claro Walnut with oil finish, Prince of Wales grip, and ebony tip. Checkered forearm and grip. Jeweled bolt with bolt handle knurled in four parts. Electropencilled to match serial number underneath handle. Blued metal. Barrel made sans sights. Steel checkered curved buttplate. S&K mounts for a Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x40 SFP scope with custom Sundog Firearms logo with "Sundog Firearms" in an arch over the Leupold logo and "CUSTOM BUILT FOR", with no name. Comes with an Americase French fitted to this gun with cutout for bolt and compartment for accessories which contains an extra lens cap and Americase paperwork. Lid has "CUSTOM .17 HMR" embroidered. CONDITION: Fine, retaining the vast majority of its original finish. Metal is excellent with just a few minor marks, wood has somewhat more marks and has one distinct pressure mark towards tip. Checkering is sharp and wood is extremely attractive. Americase is very fine and shows light evidence of use, plaque on exterior with previous owners information. An extremely attractive rifle from one of the premier builders on a boutique action, sure to please its next owner. EW
