Lot consists of (A) U.S. Remington 03-A3 with a Remington 9-43 barrel date. Rifle appears to be mostly Remington, including all the major bolt components and stock. Stock is also "FJA" marked, and with the proper U.S. acceptance mark. Correct stamped trigger guard and stock components. Sight protector is U.S. marked. CONDITION: Metal is very good to excellent with 95% of its original finish still present. Some packing grease can be found on the metal components. Stock is excellent with light handling marks. Bore is clean with shootable rifling left. (B) Springfield 1903 Mark 1 Rifle with correct 3-20 barrel date. This rifle looks to be mostly Springfield with the exception of the bolt and magazine cutoff which is Remington marked. Stock is of the "C-style and is Springfield Marked. A U.S. acceptance mark is also found on the pistol grip. CONDITION: Overall very good. Metal is clean and retains 90% of its original finish. Stock is very good as well with light handling marks in areas. Bore is overall good with a fair amount of rifling left. These rifles would make excellent additions to any historical shooters collection. JA
