Manufactured in 1980. Number 49 of 200-3 Centennial limited edition Model 37 Featherlight. The barrel has a vent rib barrel, plastic bead, and marked for a modified choke. The butt stock is figured walnut with a brown recoil pad with the Ithaca logo, a hand checkered grip and a pewter grip cap showing a likeness of Lou Smith with an Ithaca M37 over his shoulder. The receiver is blued, and the left side of the receiver is gold etched with whom appears to be Lou Smith and an early representation of the factory. The right side of the receiver is gold etched with a father and son hunting with their setter on point. The trigger, slide release and safety are gold plated. The bottom of the slide bolt is jeweled. CONDITION: Very good. Shows evidence of field use, including some lead fouling and wear on the slide bar. Action is tight and functions properly. JTH
