This certificate records the birth of Magdalena Vetter on September 14, 1791 in Weisenberg Township, Northampton (now Lehigh) County, Pennsylvania to Jacob and Maria (Hegel) Vetter and subsequent baptism by Pastor Helferrich. The Vetter/Fetter/Feather family later moved west to Selinsgrove in Snyder County, Pennsylvania. The chubby angels in billowing robes on this certificate destinguish it as the work of the so-called Flying Angel Artist, who worked in the Lehigh-Northampton County border region.
