One of the more interesting designs to come out of the early 1900's is the Standard Arms model G rifles. Designed to fire as both a semi-automatic or to be used as a pump action. These guns are usually found with brass "pump handles", however this gun features a checkered wooden grip, checkered wrist and factory engraving on the receiver and magazine well. Typical bronze buttplate with the Standard Arms Company logo. Tang sight as well as a flip rear sight. PROVENANCE: J.M. Davis Museum Collection, Claremore, OK. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing heavy patina overall. All markings are clear. Engraving is clear. Wood has some dings and handling marks, with a repair to the stock at the top where it meets the buttplate and a plastic wood repair at the toe of the stock. Bore is frosted with strong rifling. Good mechanical function. GR
