Manufactured 1919. U notch flat rear sight, half moon front sight. Marked "2" under firing pin retaining plate, "H" right above plate. Slide marked "G" "6" "3" "L (?)" on interior. Colt barrel with "COLT 45 AUTO" on lower left side of breech, "P" proof of left side of lug, "G" in front of lug. Bushing a later replacement. Long smooth trigger. Checkered spurred hammer, slide release, and magazine release. Flat smooth mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Truncated diamond walnut grips and screws of a later period. Trigger guard with "29" proof. Frame with "(Ordnance Department Eagle) / S12". Slide with two line two block patents and address with intercepting pony. Two tone two rivet magazine. CONDITION: Good, with the majority of the bluing flaked away to an even mottled brown. Action works appropriately, bore is very good with visible rifling and some light oxidation towards breech. EW
