1884 vintage Model 1876. 28" full octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Blue with case hardened hammer and lever. Plain straight grip walnut stock and forearm. Rifle style crescent buttplate. Plain trigger. Chambered in .45-75. Special ordered sling swivels. Fold down ladder rear barrel sight and German silver blade front. CONDITION: Excellent overall partially restored. 95-97% original blue on barrel and magazine tube. Mottled case color on hammer and lever. Frame is professionally refinished with virtually all of the reapplied blue remaining. Buttplate is refinished with 98% reapplied blue remaining. Wood is lightly refinished showing minimum wear. Bore is bright and clean. Action is tight and crisp. Overall a very attractive rifle. -MKS-
