Manufactured 1972. Standard combat sights, serrated hammer, left side only safety, arched mainspring housing, short trigger, and magazine release. Checkered slide release. Barrel marked on top of breech "COLT .45 AUTO / MK. IV / SERIES '70". Collet bushing. Checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallion. Accompanied by Colt woodgrain box matching by serial number. Also included is a Colt Ace conversion unit, including slide with adjustable rear and fixed front sights, barrel, magazine, recoil spring and guide, and small parts, including ejector, recoil spring guide plug, slide stop, and bushing. CONDITION: Fine, showing light cosmetic markings from handling and operation. Action works appropriately, bore is very good with some light frosting at the lands. Ace unit is very good with some light cosmetic markings from handling and operation. Bore is very good, with strong visible rifling and some minor roughness near throat. EW
