Manufactured by DWM during WWI. The receiver is marked "1916" over the chamber, with DWM proofs on the right, and the DWM monogram on the forward toggle link. German Imperial Reichsadler is present on the receiver, barrel, and breechblock. Matching numbers include the frame, locking bolt, trigger sideplate, trigger, barrel, receiver, breechblock, firing pin, extractor, and the forward and rear toggles. Hold-open latch, toggle pin, and checkered walnut grips do not match. Complete with three piece leather holster and loading tool. CONDITION: Metal components show scattered areas of wear all around to rust blued finish. Strawed components retain minute areas of finish, showing thinning and wear all around. Bore showing fair rifling throughout. Checkered wood grips are good, showing minor wear and smoothing, with a small barely visible piece that has cracked and separated from the left grip panel. Holster shows minor wear and age cracking. Overall, a nice World War I era Luger, that would make for a good example for one to bring to the range. MW
