Standard configuration. The AC45 guns are the last of the standard production P.38 pistols produced by Walther during WWII. It is theorized that between 5,000 and 10,000 guns were produced before the Allied capture of the Walther factory in April of 1945. Single line marking on the left side of the slide. Marked "ac 45" after the serial number. Eagle/359 inspected. Brown Bakelite grips. All matching numbers. Of interesting note, this gun features a matching Czech made barrel marked "fnh", as is proper. "jvd" marked phosphate magazine. Accompanied by a "jwa/ 4/ WaA706" marked black leather flap holster. CONDITION: Retains 70% finish overall with wear and handling marks. Markings are clear. Grips are very good with light handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Holster has solid stitching with crazing and some flaking. GR
