Manufactured by DWM between World War I and II. Vertical crown over "N" nitro proof on left side of receiver, barrel, and breechblock. "GERMANY" export mark on right side above grip panel. Matching numbers include the frame, barrel, and rear toggle link. Internal and external components are either unnumbered or not matching. Magazine and checkered walnut grips are unmarked. Leather Portuguese holster is faintly marked "AE" on the back and retains loading tool inside. CONDITION: Metal components retain fair amounts of applied blue finish, showing wear and thinning all around with scattered areas of cleaned rust and corrosion. Receiver axle has a chip on the rim. Bore is bright, showing strong rifling throughout. Grips are good, showing overall wear to checkering and minor indentations. Leather Portuguese holster is in fair condition, showing overall age cracking and wear. Holster is missing the pull strap. Overall, a nice P.08 for one to bring to the range. MW
