Manufactured by DWM during World War I. Receiver retains "1915" over the chamber with DWM proofs on the right side, and the DWM monogram on the toggle. Imperial German Reichsadler present on receiver, barrel, and breechblock. Matching numbers include the frame, locking bolt, trigger sideplate, trigger, hold open latch, barrel, receiver, trigger bar, breechblock, firing pin, extractor, toggles, rear sight, and checkered walnut grips. Magazine is unnumbered. Complete with a reissued, DWM and Finnish marked wood stock, Reinhold Spitz holster, and two cleaning rods. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of arsenal applied rust blue finish, showing minimal wear and thinning all around. Strawed components retain little finish, showing overall thinning and wear. Dark bore with good rifling throughout. Action is smooth and locks up tightly. Walnut grips show areas of smooth and few indentations. Stock retains former serial numbers which have been crossed out. DWM proof is slightly worn, but easily visible, with the Finnish "SA" proof being bold and showing little wear. Stock shows scattered indentations from use and handling. Leather holster is good, showing age cracking all around. Manufacturer's marking on rear is crisp and legible. Pull strap has been torn, but is still present. A nice DWM Artillery Luger. MW
