Lot consists of: (A) Made in 1863. Three screw. Frame and barrel are matching. Mismatched trigger guard, cylinder, wedge and back strap (which is not numbered at all). The back strap was cut for a shoulder stock attachment of some kind. There is a hole through the loading lever catch on the bottom of the barrel. Grips are not cartouched. CONDITION: Frame retains 85% original case colors. Barrel retains 40% original blue. Cylinder retains 20% blue with a strong scene. All markings clear. Grips are fine, appear to have been lightly refinished. Good mechanical function. Gun (B) is a standard three screw configuration. All matching numbers. Wedge and wedge screw are modern replacements. Original grips have 12 notches in the right side and 13 in the right. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing patina overall with some light pitting and surface rust. Shows wear and use. Markings are good. Scene is mostly gone from the cylinder. Grips are worn with visible but faint cartouches. Small repair to the front edge of the left grip. Good mechanical function. GR
