Lot consists of (A) Colt D.A. 38 New Army double action revolver. Serial number dates this gun to 1898. Stamped "U.S. Army model of 1901" on the butt and serialized as "105374" Serial numbers on the frame, cylinder and cylinder release match. Original finish and original wood grips. CONDITION: Overall poor. Metal retains some of its original finish, with a fair amount of surface rust covering most of the metal parts. Grips are good with numerous dings and scratches. Bore is rusty with minimal rifling left. Hammer and cylinder show a great deal of wobble. (B) Colt D.A. 38 double action revolver. Serial numbers on the frame, cylinder and cylinder release all match. Original finish and original wood grips. CONDITION: Overall fair. Metal retains some of its original finish with general patina covering most of the metal services. Grips are very good with light handling marks. Bore with fair rifling left. Hammer and cylinder show a great deal of wobble. A nice pair of Colts for repair or parts. JA
