Lot consists of: (A) Smith and Wesson Model 28-2 with matching box and spare grip. Gun is marked "Highway Patrol" on the barrel. Adjustable rear sight. Extra wood grip is Smith and Wesson made. Box is serial numbered to the gun, and contains the original manual. CONDITION: Overall very good. Metal retains 90% of its original blue finish with light wear and handling marks. Both sets of grips are excellent. Bore is clean with fair rifling. Mechanically excellent. Hammer and cylinder show a slight amount of wobble. Box is excellent. (B) Smith and Wesson 19-4 U.S. Customs Department commemorative revolver with display case. Adjustable rear sight. Engraved with the U.S. customs patrol logo on the frame. Case is not numbered to the gun. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. Metal retains 90% or more of its original finish with light handling marks and scratches. Grips are excellent.
