The full length figure standing beside his gray horse with a battle scene depicted in the distant background. This painting is a fine example of a contemporary and period copy of a portrait by John Trumbull depicting Washington at Dorchester Heights. It is on the original canvas and stretcher. CONDITION: Four holes repaired. In a period frame. PROVENANCE: Joe Kindig, York, Pennsylvania, 2002.
