Very hard to find 1941 dated Remington model 1903 rifle. Barrel is dated 12-41. "RLB" cartouche. 4-groove rifling. What makes this gun special is the "NZ/ 11375" stamp in the right side of the stock. At the outbreak of WWII, the US sent a number of model 1903 rifles to both England and New Zealand under the "lend-lease" program. This is one of the guns that went to New Zealand. Equipped with a model 1923 canvas sling that is dated 1943. This gun appears to be original and correct in ever respect. CONDITION: Retains 95% original finish. Markings are sharp and clear. Wood is fine with minor handling marks and nice clear markings. Fine bore with bright shiny rifling. Fine mechanical function. This rifle came out of the personal collection of Charles W. It comes with a certified letter stating that. GR
