Beautiful 20 bore factory engraved guns with 27 - 5/8" barrels. Established in 1977, Luciano Bosis producer of fine bespoke shotguns on a by order basis with an estimated production of just 25 guns annually. This fine pair being built in 2001 have a single bead sight on the narrow matte solid rib barrels which are inscribed "LUCIANO BOSIS-BRESCIA ITALY" on the left side forward of the breech. Barrels feature 3" chambers and ejectors along with Full and Modified chokes. The receivers are silver grey in color with full coverage fine, detailed, tight English style scroll engraving. The master engraver's signature "L. Sabatti" is found on the bottom of the receiver to the left of the trigger guard. The sidelock actions are fitted with single inertia triggers and tang mounted thumb auto safe. The buttstocks are built with finely checkered pistol grips, dark smoky lines, fully engraved lower tang, woodcock in vignette on trigger guard, a gold initial oval, and a finely checkered bare butt. Barrels are mounted on highly figured, finely checkered forearms with Anson style push button releases, engraved fittings and an inset gold Luciano Bosis coat of arms in the center. These wonderful shotguns include a brown leather bound motor case with canvas outer cover, extra strikers, V-springs, two piece cleaning rod and snap caps. CONDITION: Excellent. Both sets of barrels retain 98% original blue with minor handling marks. Actions are clean with little signs of use. Stocks and forends with minor handling and storage marks. CP
