Pre-64 Model 70 with round barrel that has hooded front sight and adjustable rear sight. Usual barrel markings on left side of barrel along with proof mark. Stock is checkered in point pattern at forearm and at wrist and has flat knob grip. Matching numbered bolt. Checkered steel buttplate. Sling swivels. CONDITION: Very good as field used. Retains more than 90% original finish to metal parts. Stock with minor hunting bumps and some finish loss towards toe. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine. JSL
