Lot consists of (A) Deep amber hued ball with diamond crosshatching and flattened equatorial band reading "BOGARDUS' GLASS BALL PAT'd APR. 10. 1877." Smooth band around neck and base where crosshatching does not reach. Triple mold seam. (B) Light green hue ball with diamond crosshatching. Flattened equatorial band reading "BOGARDUS' GLASS BALL PAT'd APR. 10. 1877." Smooth band around neck and at base where cross hatching does not reach. Lower half of has softened crosshatching. (C) Light amber hued ball with diamond crosshatching and flattened equatorial band reading "BOGARDUS GLASS BALL PAT'd APR. 10. 1877." Triple mold seam. (D) Deep amber hued ball with "hobnail" pattern and flattened equatorial band reading "BOGARDUS' GLASS BALL PAT'd APR. 10. 1877". Triple mold seam. Hobnails at base softened. (E) Deep blue hued ball with diamond crosshatching and flattened equatorial band reading "BOGARDUS' GLASS BALL PAT'd APR. 10. 1877". CONDITION: Balls are in good condition for their age, complete, with no discernible cracks or damage. Balls have various levels of bubbling and residue from when blown. A nice lot of Bogardus's, including a rare hobnail. EW
