Made in Austria and used in wars on the European continent along with being exported for use in the American Civil War. Percussion lock with small illegible proofmark at rear of lock. Octagon to round rifled barrel with blade front sight and flip up rear sight with windage markings. Walnut stock with brass hardware. Steel ramrod with socket style saber bayonet. CONDITION: Overall aged patina with marks and dings from usage. Good mechanics and solid gun. DLM
