Lot consists of (A) Service Model Ace manufactured 1981. Adjustable rear sight, smooth Patridge style front sight. Serrated slide stop, safety, left side only safety, and narrow hammer. Front strap and mainspring housing have been stippled by an iron. Short serrated trigger. Keyes fiber grips. Service model magazine. "T", "D", and "VP" proofs on trigger guard. Comes with a nice reproduction maroon box with pamphlets. CONDITION: Very good as professionally reblued. Retains the vast majority of the rebluing, although some of the white paint in legends has flaked away. Action works properly, bore is excellent, bright and shiny, with sharp rifling. (B) Remington Rand frame with Ace model slide. Adjustable rear sight, raised serrated ramp front. Checkered spurred hammer, short trigger, left side safety, arched mainspring housing, and slide release. Grips from a later period. Attractive temper line on slide. No proofs on frame. CONDITION: Good as used. Slide has some nicks and dings from use, entirety of gun has some silvering on high edges and at reciprocating areas. Action works appropriately, bore is very good with sharp rifling and some minor oxidation towards muzzle. EW
