Miquelet lock with pierced top screw, serrated pan, surrounded with horn line border and decorative pins. Trigger guard with mother of pearl inlay surrounding. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel essentially gunmetal grey with smooth even old oxidation. Silver tarnished throughout with remnants of niello in protected areas, more at rear band and floral decoration of breech. Wood with two chips out of mid section, and one crack running through forward escutcheons. Evidence of a splice repair under rearmost band and running forward of it.
