Wonderful 1954 production field grade Model 42 Winchester shotgun. 26" barrel with modified choke with standard Winchester address and legends. High polish factory blue finish on receiver with appropriate slightly subdued blue finish upon barrel and magazine. Crisp Winchester proof marks on receiver and chamber of barrel. Field grade Winchester walnut stocks are properly varnish finished with Winchester plastic buttplate. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with over 98% bright blue finish on receiver. Barrel and magazine retain over 95% blue with losses contained to magazine from forearm operation. Bore and chamber are excellent. Action smooth with crisp lock-up. Stocks are very fine with some very minor impressions on butt stock and a few minor scratches. Buttplate is slightly white from storage. A very fine Field Grade Model 42. TDW
