Manufactured 1903. Barrels made with matted top rib with steel front bead. Barrel flats with pellet count info and proof marks. Splinter forend checkered in point pattern with serial number stamped on inside of iron and wood. Unengraved case hardened action stamped "Remington Arms Co." on sides. Round knob pistol grip buttstock is checkered in three point pattern and terminates with Remington Arms Co. logo buttplate. Made with double triggers, extractors, non auto safety. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Barrels retain more than 95% original plum barrel blue. Receiver retains more than 90% original case color, just toning on high points and on front of bottom of action. Stocks are sound with most of their original finish remaining with scattered handling marks and hunting bumps. Small chip missing at toe of buttplate, and minute crack at bottom right of receiver confluence; otherwise fine. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are fine. JSL
