1903 vintage Colt SAA with 5 - 1/2" barrel. Chambered in .44-40 caliber. Replaced two piece fossilized ivory grips with carved steerhead and Colt nickel medallions. A star is stamped on right side of trigger guard possibly indicating a factory repair or rework. Left side of barrel is marked "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER". Entire gun has been polished to bare metal and some type of "coined" finish applied. Custom engraved by David Harris. Date of engraving is unknown. CONDITION: Fine overall. Completely custom finished and engraved. Replaced grips. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is excellent -MKS-
