Lot consists of: A) Made in 1921 by A.H. Fox Gun Company Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Sterlingworth Grade shotgun has blued barrels of compressed fluid Sterlingworth steel. Case colored action. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with added recoil pad. Checkered walnut splinter forearm with friction release. Gun has extractors and double triggers. Comes with Callahan letter indicating gun was shipped August 11th, 1921 to Belden Sporting Goods, as a Sterlingworth Field grade with 28" 12 gauge barrels choked modified on right and full on left, walnut stocks with 14" length of pull and 3" drop at hell, and 6 - 3/4 to 7 lb weight range. Also included is a listing of Italian year of proof codes. CONDITION: Barrels retain 50% blue with good bores and some light scratches. Action buffed to a silver finish. Wood refinished with added pad. Good mechanics. (B) Double barrel shotgun manufactured by Ferdinand Hanquet in Liege, Belgium. Gun features blued fluid steel barrels with matted rib. Scalloped case hardened boxlock action with side clips, double triggers, Greener style crossbolt, extractors, and cocking indicators. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with horn buttplate and European style cheekpiece. Checkered walnut splinter forearm with push button release. CONDITION: 70% original barrel with good bores. Action has 10% remaining case colors. Wood has 50% original hand rubbed finish with light dings and scratches. Good mechanics. DLM
