Made by Ball and Williams, Worcester, Massachusetts under Ballard's Patent of 1861. Lever action single shot rifle with blued octagon barrel with rifle sights (rear missing). Walnut stocks with crescent steel butt and steel forend cap. CONDITION: Barrel turning a dark shade of brown with some external pitting. Dark bore with visible rifling and some pitting. Wood has some original finish with usage marks concurrent with a 150 year old gun. Gun functions. DLM
