This gun was produced in Los Angeles sometime between 1954 and 1964. Many of these were used in the movie industry at the time as a cheaper alternative to the Colt made Single Actions. Extremely well made copy but featuring a brass trigger guard and back strap. Marked on top of the barrel "GREAT WESTERN ARMS CO.", caliber marked on the left side of the barrel. CONDITION: Very fine with 98% finish overall. Excellent bore with sharp rifling. Wood grips have minor handling marks. Good mechanical function, although the mainspring is weak. Some slight tarnish to the brass. GR
