Chambered for the .38-40 Winchester cartridge (38 WCF) Colt Single Action Army with blue and case color finishes and mounted with proper Colt checkered hard rubber grips with right grip having last 4 digits of serial number. 4 - 3/4" barrel manufactured 1909. Barrel has two line barrel address and proper two line patent legend. Colt violent proof on trigger guard . Matching numbers observed on frame, trigger guard, and butt. CONDITION: Very good with over 80% blue finish remaining on barrel and ejector rod housing. Case color on frame are partially silvered out with 40% remaining. Backstrap has turned brown patina and grey from use. Screws are very good. Action operates properly. Bore is good with sharp rifling and slight frosting at forcing cone. Chambers are very fine. Grips are good with right grip having a contemporary repair at base with slight material loss. TDW
