Manufactured 1897. Colt Single Action Army with 4 - 3/4" barrel with two line barrel address. Marked 45 COLT of left side. Two line patent legend on frame. Traverse cylinder retainer. Matching numbers on frame, trigger guard, and butt. Two piece Colt hard rubber grips with number to another revolver internally. CONDITION: Good as functions, and finish is now dove grey with a mixture of brown patina. Trigger appears to be chipped or short as hammer rest slightly forward as does trigger. Bore is lightly frosted with strong rifling and chambers are good. Grips are good with a very slight chipping at backstrap area. Screws are all slightly fouled but appear original. TDW
