Manufactured in 1893 with 4 - 3/4" barrel with roll die marking "FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" and chambered for .44-40 WCF. Two line barrel address with two line patent legend on black powder frame. Two piece Colt eagle grips. Classic Cowboy configuration with aesthetically pleasing appearance. CONDITION. Good overall and appears all original. Gun is a lightly salt & pepper pitted patina overall. Bore is slightly dark with strong rifling. Chambers are very good. Action operates properly. Cylinder pin is badly scoured and distressed from improper removal. Frame screws are good, butt and trigger guard screws are fouled. Grips are evenly worn and internal markings have been crudely removed. TDW
