Unique Colt Single Action Army with unusual serial number 48AC. Believed to be from a Arizona Territory commemorative from 1963, found on frame internally, on backstrap, and trigger guard. 5 - 1/2" barrel chambered for the .45 Colt cartridge with blue finish and case colored frame. Barrel is a second generation pattern with single line address on top and Colt Single Action Army .45 on right side above ejector rod housing. Rear of cylinder has Rampant Colt and the number "8" at front. Grips are modern non-Colt reproductions numbered to another gun but fit well. CONDITION: Very fine as appears to have been refinished case colored frame. All blue parts are expertly restored to appear to be factory. Bore is very good and action operates properly. TDW
