On April 9th, 2004, when several U.S. Marines came under fire, Steve Reichert pulled off a nearly impossible feat and neutralized three insurgents with one shot, using a Raufoss round fired from an M82A3 and hitting his target through a wall. Reichert would proceed to stay on the rifle for twelve hours, providing overwatch and participating in the firefight. For this action, Reichert received the Bronze Star with a combat V and was medically discharged later that year after a run in with an improvised explosive device. Mr. Reichert has since founded his own training company, training some of the top fighters the world has seen. This rifle was one of Mr. Reichert's personal rifles, identified by serial number in a private transaction when the rifle was sold. This rifle is build on a Knights Armament SR-25, later Titusville era lower with Magpul MOE pistol grip, Magpul MOE stock with compartment that contains a Ballisticard filled out to 1000 yards, cheek piece with DOPE chart, extended charging handle, KAC trigger. Rare Knight's Armament bolt carrier group with rare sand cuts and very rare dimpled barrel. Knight's Armament quad rail with covers set back at 6 and 9 o'clock position, 3 o'clock rail cover is set forward. Mounted with a Bushnell 3.5-21x50 DMR II scope with Horus H59 reticle in first focal plane in one piece mount, Butler Creek flip scope caps, 45 degree offset iron sights. Three prong flash hider/suppressor attachment point. Rifle comes in a fitted Knight's Armament travel case, with glued in foam, and an additional magazine. The whole rifle has been painted by Reichert himself in a camouflage pattern with Krylon paint. CONDITION: This rifle has seen use and some of the camouflage paint job has chipped away, particularly at pivot and operational points, still retains majority of applied finish. Operates correctly with a fine bore, glass is clear. Rear scope cover is starting break at the flip juncture, exercise caution. If you are a fan on military sniper rifles, Marine history, or just a recreational shooter, you cannot afford to miss this. EW
