Pre-war, circa 1930's. Very colorful original box marked "Distributors Geo. Borgfeldt Corporation, New York, Made in Japan Copyright Walt E. Disney Mickey Cyclist with Pluto". Shows great color graphics of Mickey on top lid of box, waving right hand and Pluto pulling him on three-wheeled cycle. Tin-lithographed cycle and wheels, celluloid Mickey figure and celluloid Goofy figure, which runs aside of Mickey while he moves forward. Very difficult toy to find in original box. CONDITION: Some slight creasing and tearing to box but displays well. Toy itself is bright and shiny, looks to have no dents, cracks or repairs. Box is very good to excellent condition, toy is excellent to near mint condition. Only Mickey Mouse toy with ears lined up one behind the other rather than side by side.
