Pre-war Germany, circa 1930's. Die-cut figure of Mickey, which, when crank is turned, dances up and down and his arms and legs shake back and forth. Tin-litho backdrop says "Mickey Mouse Slate Dancer". Gray base. Could be steam-driven or hand-cranked. Nice, bright red lithography. CONDITION: Some scratches and slight oxidation on one corner of base, overall excellent condition. From the Jeff Landes Collection.
