Includes scarce and colorful original box, which is complete, shows Pluto chasing ball on front cover, Pluto running away from a lion at the zoo on two side panels, and cowering to Mickey Mouse on end panels. Box is marked "Walt Disney Productions". Toy itself is unusual as it is two tin-litho pieces with a metal spring connecting them. A complicated and interesting toy with original rubber ears and tail. CONDITION: Box is crisp with very little wear but a slight poke hole in bottom-right corner. Toy has some of the usual Linemar factory paint touch-up around Pluto's neck, but overall condition of the toy and box is excellent. From the Jeff Landes Collection.
