March 10 & 11, 2020 Toy, Doll & Figural Cast Iron

First is a Linemar remote-controlled battery-operated Dick Tracy car. Box is nice and colorful and shows the actual toy on it with the remote. Toy itself has metal badge on side of both front doors, which say "Dick Tracy 1949" and has a full figure of Dick Tracy driving inside. Second is an English Gyrosiren Car from the show Highway Patrol. Original box has great graphics, depicting Broderick Crawford as Highway Patrol Chief Dan Matthews from the 1950's TV show, and is marked "Copyright Television Products Limited". Toy has nice litho and shows Broderick driving. Marked "Highway Patrol" on both doors and has a siren-sounding friction mechanism. CONDITION: Linemar Dick Tracy box is complete but has some edge wear. Car itself has very little wear. Gyrosiren box is nice and complete. Car has minor play wear nicks and wear. Overall condition of lot is excellent. From the Jeff Landes Collection.
