All have original boxes. First is an American made Popeye quarter register bank, made by Kalon, New York. Shows Popeye on the front holding a can of spinach and states that the bank opens automatically at $10 worth of quarters. Nice litho on all other sides showing kids playing. Second is a Marx Donald Duck bank, marked "Copyright Walt Disney Productions", has original door and Donald with three nephews lithographed on back, Goofy and Minnie and Mickey on one side and Donald's three nephews and Pluto on the other in a circus motif. Box is crisp and has nice color graphics, marked "No. 728 Donald Duck Bank". Last is a French Mont-Blank bank of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Crisp and complete original box is plain and without any litho, but is the correct box for this bank. Shows Snow White on one side panel, Dopey on the other, three Dwarfs playing instruments on the back and house with a original locking back door. CONDITION: Box for Popeye quarter register bank is crisp and mostly complete, missing only a small piece off the bottom flap. Marx Donald Duck bank box has slight creasing to top lid. Condition overall is excellent to near mint. From the Jeff Landes Collection.
