Both marked Jones Ball & Poor, Boston ca. 1850, the Jug chased with vines and birds on a matted ground with a front reserve engraved with a coat of arms, the lid with similar decoration; the teapot, also marked W&G for Woodward & Grosjean, with acanthus chasing to the crimped edges of the lid and body below it, the base with engraved reserve, the lid with a cast figure of a cherub. Together with an S Kirk water pitcher, ovoid with a band of floral chasing. Height of first: 7 - 5/8" Total weight: 72.5 ozt.
