Lot consists of: (A) Savage Model 23D bolt action magazine fed rifle with blued round barrel and action. Blade front sight with rear adjustable. Walnut wood stock with Savage marked steel buttplate and magazine. Comes with Weaver 344 scope with Weaver sidemount. CONDITION: 70% original blue with excellent bore. Wood has 70% original varnish with usage marks and dings. Mechanics are good. Scope is clear and functions. (B) Winchester Model 1894 Carbine made in 1940. This gun has British proofmarks indicating use by British Home Guard. Blued round barrel with ramped front sight with adjustable rear sight. Blued receiver and bolt with British proofs. Walnut wood stock with provision for sling swivel, missing. CONDITION: 80% original blue with light scratches. 70% original varnish with handling marks and dings. Excellent bore and mechanics. Good sharp proof marks. Interesting historical gun. DLM
