Both of these guns features a 4 - 3/4" barrel and are in caliber .44-40. One is full nickel finish with matching factory letter stating it was shipped on February 5th, 1896 in a shipment of one gun to Simmons Hardware Co. of St. Louis as a nickel .44-40 with 4 - 3/4" barrel, the current pearl grips not listed. The other gun does not have a letter, is finished in standard blue and case color with custom wood grips, and etched panel barrel with the older black powder frame and made in 1883. CONDITION: Both guns have been professionally restored to as new condition and neither appears to have been fired since restoration was completed. All legends are still sharp on both guns, both have near mint bores and matching numbers. This is a stunning set of antique .44's. that is housed in a custom walnut French fitted display case. REW
