Scarce Colt Pocket Model .36 caliber Navy revolver, less than 22,000 total production. Five shot, rebated cylinder. Blue with case hardened frame, hammer, and loading lever. Sliver plated brass triggerguard and backstrap. Varnished one piece walnut grips. Stagecoach "hold-up" scene on cylinder. New York address on barrel. Matching serial numbers on barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and cylinder. Housed in correct factory partition style walnut case with all accessories including, an Eagle flask, bullet mold, nipple wrench and Eley Bros percussion cap tin. Correct case key. CONDITION: Case exterior and interior in excellent condition showing minimum wear. Revolver is excellent overall with 85-90% original high polish blue on the barrel showing scattered dents and scratches mainly around wedge. Traces of original case color on frame and hammer. Strong cylinder scene. Unmolested screws. Approximately 40% original blue on cylinder. Brass trigger guard and backstrap showing a very pleasing soft mustard color. -MKS-
