The left side of frame within the milled panel is stamped Von Lengerke & Detmold, New York. This model is often seen with this famous retailer stamp. The grips are the handsome gutta percha checkered style with monogram. Rear sight is graduated from 50-1000 meters. Has all visible matching numbers which includes the wooden stock. Has all proper German Imperial and Oberndorf proofs. Hammer is the highly desirable large ring variety. CONDITION: The gun retains approximately 65% original factory blue that is blending with soft patina and some minor age freckling on barrel. Grips are excellent. Extractor still has generous amounts of fire blue finish. Rifling is sharp. Nice dealer marked large ring Mauser. A period black leather flap holster that is unmarked also accompanies this pistol. DB
