Serial numbers 104023 and 90312, produced in 1854 & 1855, factory engraved and dual cased with accessories. 6" octagon barrels with five shot .31 cal cylinders and deluxe finished walnut grips. Engraved in tight scrolls over nearly 100% of the frames as well as 40% of the barrels. Stage coach cylinder scenes with silver washed backstrap and trigger guards. Matching numbers observed on both guns including wedges. Cased in factory dual case with flask, mold, and cap tin. Label on interior of lid is slightly flaked from age. CONDITION: Very good with most all finish having turned dove grey. Slight blemishes to wedges from period removal and use. Actions operate properly. Grips are very fine and full sized with most all varnish remaining. Most all silver remains on straps and all marking are clear and legible. Case is very good with excellent furniture, solid lining however slightly faded. Flask is very good as is mold. TDW
