Manufactured 1898, Antique Colt Single Action Army revolver, roll die "Colt Frontier Six Shooter" barrel with two piece hard rubber grips. Matching numbers on frame, trigger guard , and backstrap. Factory letter verifies configuration and shipment to A.F. Shapleigh Hardware Company, St. Louis, Missouri in 1898. CONDITION: No original finish remaining, over cleaned with overall scattered pitting and a dark pitted bore. Still a handsome antique old cowboy gun that was shipped to the eastern most edge of the Wild West. tdw
